Divine Selection?

What is life if you seem to be pulling big surprises on us
We know you to be one with an edge for the old
But in recent times you have decided to come for the young cold
I think , wonder and ponder, what scientific formula you've been using
Tell me, is it an arithmetic or geometric sequence
Because in my search for the difference, I find the ratio of the young to old becomes heightened.
You leave trees that are tired and have bore every fruit they will want to bear
And go for buds with a promising end.
Some say you are influenced and triggered by juju
But then I ask are you mumu to vicious minds.
You seem to like it when we are caught unawares
And we cry and wail at your choice.
Maybe you indeed love attention or
Maybe perhaps you want to teach us a lesson.
